The Specifics

Zoetic Dance is accepting short dance films 3-10 minutes in length, as part of the Distance Disco Project (DDP) film series. Artists interested in submitting to be a part of DDP film series, please click here to fill out the application (no fees associated), and see additional details below:

  • Presenting artists will receive an artist stipend.

  • Applications will be reviewed by an adjudicated panel of industry professionals.

  • Artists may apply to present a new or existing dance film work.

  • Films must be between 3-10 minutes in length.

  • All material must be the original work of the artists involved in each submission.

  • Work submissions must center on one of four program topics: 1) Places & Spaces, 2) Time, 3) State of Mind, 4) Touch.

Deadline

All applications are due by midnight on Friday, July 31st, 2020. Artists will be notified of their acceptance status the first week in August. The Distance Disco film series will premiere online, September 26th, 2020. Additional details to follow.
