Zoetic Dance is seeking female dancers for our upcoming 2020/2021 season’s projects. Dancers must have strong ballet and contemporary dance foundations, strong partnering skills, a willingness to work collaboratively and creatively and an honor of the female spirit. In light of the global pandemic, this year’s audition process will be done virtually. Please see virtual audition guidelines below:
Video submissions for interested dancers will be open beginning June 1 and will close July 24. Dancers be will considered for a video interview/virtual meet and greet before final selections are made.
Video submission requirements:
2 minutes max of improvisation.
Two 2-3 minute contemporary phrases. Please give credit to choreographer. Show your versatility!
1-2 minute across the floor grande allegro combination including the following:
Inversions
Leaps of any kind (ex. barrel turns, grande jetés, stag jump, calypso, etc.)
Floor work
1-2 minutes speaking on your desires and aspirations as an artist and why you are interested in working with Zoetic Dance.
